Dr. Steven Lutz received his Bachelors of Science Degree with Distinction from the University of Michigan in 1979. He then graduated with a Doctorate in Optometry with Distinction from Ferris State University Optometry School in 1983. Dr. Lutz has owned his own practice at this location for over 22 years.
Dr. Lutz has a full scope optometric practice. He practices therapeutic optometry, diagnosing and treating many forms of eye disease. Dr. Lutz is a R.G.P. (Rigid Gas Permeable) lens expert, and he also specializes in hard-to-fit contact lenses, such as bifocal and multifocal contact lenses, as well as toric (astigmatic correcting) contact lenses.
Dr. Lutz has had an article published in the Journal Optometric Management.
He has also lectured on custom scleral contact lenses at a national eyecare meeting.
Dr. Brett Arnold graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelors Degree in Vision Science and continued his studies at the Michigan College of Optometry, graduating with a Doctorate in Optometry. During and after school, he became more interested in the art of contact lens and now focuses a majority of his time fitting contact lenses.
You may be familiar with his hometown of Yale, Michigan if you ever have heard of the world famous Bologna Festival that is hosted there every summer.
In his free time, Dr. Arnold enjoys staying active with frisbee golf, jogging, and writing songs to play along with on his acoustic guitar. He also gives time to volunteering his eyecare services abroad through the group VOSH (Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity) and has helped several small communities in southwest Mexico obtain care that would otherwise be unavailable to the local people.
