Dr. Steven Lutz received his Bachelors of Science Degree with Distinction from the University of Michigan in 1979. He then graduated with a Doctorate in Optometry with Distinction from Ferris State University Optometry School in 1983. Dr. Lutz has owned his own practice at this location for over 22 years.
Dr. Lutz has a full scope optometric practice. He practices therapeutic optometry, diagnosing and treating many forms of eye disease. Dr. Lutz is a R.G.P. (Rigid Gas Permeable) lens expert, and he also specializes in hard-to-fit contact lenses, such as bifocal and multifocal contact lenses, as well as toric (astigmatic correcting) contact lenses.
Dr. Lutz has had an article published in the Journal Optometric Management.
He has also lectured on custom scleral contact lenses at a national eyecare meeting.
Dr. Christopher Pavone received his Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2004. He then graduated from Illinois College of Optometry in 2008, earning a Doctorate in Optometry. In addition, Dr. Pavone has pursued advanced clinical training completing his residency in Ocular Diseases at the Battle Creek V.A. Medical Center in June 2010.
Dr. Pavone practices therapeutic optometry, diagnosing and treating various forms of ocular diseases including: glaucoma, macular degeneration, bacterial infections, shingles, and diabetic retinopathy. He is also experienced in fitting an array of contact lenses including bifocal and multifocal contact lenses, and toric (astigmatic correcting) contact lenses.
